News Release March 23

The British Columbia Conservative Party is pleased to announce its MLA candidate for the Langley Electoral District is Justin Greenwood.

Greenwood, 35, is the Vancouver Area Manager of a marketing company whose clientele is the real estate industry. He has owned or managed several small businesses since high school.

Active in his church, Justin is proud of his volunteer role in the BC Thanksgiving Food Drive that collected 450,000 pounds of food for distribution to food banks throughout the province.

“The endorsement of a fine young candidate with private-sector work experience and lots of community involvement is another sign the B.C. Conservative Party will be competitive in numerous constituencies,” said Corbin Mitchell, president of the Party.

Justin was born in Victoria, grew up on the Saanich peninsula and moved to Langley several years ago where he’s raising his son.

Justin says, “Not only will I be a true conservative voice for Langley and serve the people as their representative in Victoria. I will also work within the riding by facilitating a group of community organizations to help solve issues such as homelessness in Langley. We need to help each other here first before we can help others.”

“I recognize that the family is the most important building block of our community and our society,” said Greenwood.

“With good young people like Justin coming forward to run for us, our prospects are looking better and that’s a good for the province too,” said Mitchell.
